"LinkConnector’s Director of Affiliate Relations,
Ros Phillips, Provides Invaluable Insight, Advice for Affiliates
Old and New"
Hear
all about LinkConnector as its Director of Affiliate Relations, Ros Phillips
talks to James Martell and explains how one of the Net’s most successful
affiliate marketing networks helps merchants and affiliates increase their
online sales.
Ros tells James how LinkConnector can help affiliates - both new affiliates
and established affiliates to find the best merchants, and then provides
campaigns that fit their affiliate’s criteria and allow them to meet their
goals.
Having been in the industry for nearly seven years, Ros has attended
numerous industry conferences, which is where she met James. Among her
personal favorites are the WebmasterWorld and Affiliate Summit events. In
fact, she and James first met at PubCon in Las Vegas just last year.
For a new affiliate, Ros highly recommends attending
Affiliate Summit, which
she says really “caters to the basics,” and for the Webmaster who needs
design help, SEO assistance, or is interested in learning a few tips,
tricks, and tools to chisel out their own online success, she recommends
attending Webmaster World.
Recognizing that many people just breaking into the affiliate arena are
doing so to make extra money and may not have the funds needed to travel to
industry events, Ros advises making enough to cover your travel and
accommodations costs and getting to an industry event as soon as possible.
Attending, she tells James, will help people decide if they want to make
affiliate marketing their part-time job or their full-time business.
As for what makes a good affiliate, Ros shares with James that over the
course of years and through her dealings with numerous affiliates she has
observed that the most successful ones do indeed share a few common traits,
such as 1) a drive to achieve; 2) the ability to build a relationship with
an affiliate manager; 3) willingness to learn; 4) the ability to treat their
affiliate work as a business; 5) passion for their site’s content; and 6) a
desire to have the best website on the Net.
Listen now to hear more about Ros’ advice for affiliates and to learn how
LinkConnector can help you “grow” your business. And don’t forget to grab

I thought Ros Phillips added very valuable insights and
powerful information for new affiliates as well as more experienced
affiliates. She's a powerhouse, that one! I blogged about the help she's
giving me as an affiliate of LinkConnector ... Bobbie Grennier, Santa
Cruz, CA
Yes, I found the interview to be informative. The "naked
link" technology seems intriguing as a way to supplement tracking and
insure proper counts. Scotty Robbinsdale, MN
Thanks. A lot of important information in this interview
for me is managing to get the point home, that it is a good idea to
contact my affiliate managers for support, marketing information and
advice. Telephone contact may well be a source of important information
that i have over looked. This was re affirmed in my thinking by the
BootCamp on Wednesday night. I will listen to the interview several
times to really get the most out of it. Clayton Palmer

reassuring to know that there's so much support out there for affiliate
marketers. I'm a big fan of your monthly Affiliate Buzz and enjoying the
new Coffee Talk interviews. Thanks! Christy - Honolulu, HI
AWESOME...I love Ros's accent...some words were
challenging to understand, so it forces me to listen more carefully and
